Movement is fun and overwhelming mountain panoramas reward you for the climb up. Hiking beyond the timber line and great round tours are made easy: the cable cars to the Eggalm or Sommerbergalm as well as the hiking taxis make the climb easier and the free hiking bus takes hikers back to the starting point. Olperer, Riffler, Grüblspitze, Frauenwand... Summits are in your reach.

Nature park Zillertaler Alps

The „Hochgebirgs-Naturpark Zillertaler Alpen“. It expands from about 1.000 m up to 3.509 m altitude, over all the height levels of the central Alps and serves as protection and for preservation of our unique nature- and cultural-landscape. On 379 km² this breathtaking protection landscape is spreading in the Zillertal. On the numerous tours you get to know more about the different habitats of the animals and plants of the Zillertal and you can listen to the adventurous stories from the time of poachers and smugglers.
