Thundering and roaring the Tuxer Waterfalls come rushing into the valley. A spectacular wonder of nature awaits you. Deep crag cauldrons, natural rock bridges, caves and canyons enchant the visitor.

The road leads you also to the Schraubenwasserfall, which has the status of a natural monument.

Description: Starting point at the valley station of the glacier cableway in Hintertux. At the inside left one can already spot the lowest waterfall, the Kesselfall.  Across a few reversements you reach the Schraubenwasserfall.

On a narrow road through the Schutzwald you will reach the Güterweg, which comes from Hintertux. On this road, turn to the right and walk past the "Walfischmaul" , a split block of stone, which looks like a whale's mouth. then take the right branching on the hiking trail towards the "Spannagelhaus" and continue onthis road until you see the sign post to the right showing you the "Sommerberg".

Waldeben. Further on to the Tuxbachklamm. Across a narrow bridge to the wonderful Talkessel at the so called descend to the valley station of the glacier cableway.

Walking time: approx. 2 hours, easy round trip.
