The Wellnesshotel Bergland is located 1 km before Hintertux at Madseit. Sunnily and idyllically situated in beautiful nature. We are surrounded by terrific meadows and forrests and you can enjoy a marvellous view over the fascinating mountains.
The Tuxertal is an extension of the Zillertal. We are located approximately 25 km air-line distance eastward from Innsbruck in Tyrol.
Due to its altitude of 1450 metres the winter sets in earlier in Hintertux and stays longer but this season offers landscapes, that is entirely unique in its intensity.
The climate is very convenient, thanks to the weather-protected location. Typical for the Tuxertal: There is no fog, it is a climatic spa with a special healthy climate and there are no pollen. Nature becomes your holiday partner and your constant companion. On the one side it is the experience of the landscapes - on the other side a piece of earth.

By Car: Inntalautobahn (A12) - Exit Zillertal, federal road (B169) to Mayrhofen, then the Tuxer country road towards Hintertux. (motorway exit Zillertal to Hintertux 50 km). (no toll via the Achensee or the federal road from Kiefersfelden - Wörgl - Rattenberg - Zillertal)
The Tuxer country road from Mayrhofen to Hintertux is easily driveable all year-round. Snow chains are necessary when there is fresh snow! Weight restriction 16 tons, no trailer permitted, maximum passing height at the avalanche galleries 4,20 m.
