Hotels, which successfully meet the requirements of the German spa-association are awarded with a Premium-Certificate. You can recognise these hotels at the quality-titles "good", "very good" or "excellent".
To get this premium-certificate the hotels have to face an anomym test for several days, where aprroximately 750 quality factors are measured.
Not just the spacial-technical furnishing and the spa offers are evaluated but also and especially the human element when it comes to service, customer orientation and the professional skills - in every aspect which concerns your well-being and health.
This not just includes the service at the spa facilities but also the gastronomy and the hotel service.
Hotels, which fullfill at least 60% of the test requirements get the title "GOOD". If at least 75% of the requirements are fullfilled, the hotel receives the title "VERY GOOD". Hotels, which manage to fulfill 90 to 100% of the requirements are awarded the top title "EXCELLENT".
Winner of the SPA AWARD 2011
On the 30th November 2010 during the 8th gala night of the club "Top-of-the-Mountains" the much sought-after spa – award was granted to the hotel Bergland. We are very proud of this award and we will follow the motto of the club – the top of the mountains – als in the future.
With this award hotels are appreciated for exceptional touristic achievements and ideas. Furthermore this is a great motivation for the future.
